RETIREMENT
Both of our cat shelters offer the option of Lifetime Care in our progressive Retirement Centers. To be eligible for this program, cats must meet certain health and medical requirements. There is a one-time fee for each cat.
All of the cats in our Lifetime Care program receive high-quality food, special dental and medical care, and individual attention on a regular basis. We even maintain a fully equipped clinic on-site to ensure health and happiness among our feline friends. Our staff and volunteers take every opportunity possible to visit and play with the cats inside the Center as well as “outside” in its large enclosed patio areas, ensuring that their golden years are some of their best years.
For more information regarding your cat’s retirement, please feel free to call either one of our shelters and ask to speak with our Retirement Coordinator.
Volunteering: National Cat is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us out, directly or indirectly. We offer many volunteer opportunities including special cleaning and decorating assignments throughout the shelters among other things.
NATCAT is very grateful for those volunteers who wish to open their hearts and homes to a foster animal. It is an unfortunate fact that not all of the kitties brought to our shelters for adoption meet our adoption criteria, and, due to limited space and personnel, we are unable to conduct an “in-house” foster care program.
